The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Darleen Bonislawski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Forever in My Heart

I started working in the law office straight out of high school. It wasn't much, but it was a job. My mother was actually working there, and when the new office opened up in downtown Boston, I alternated between both offices, spending most of my time in downtown. Mrs. Bonislowski had actually gotten my mother the job there at the Cambridge office. My mother was working one job at the time she met Attorney Bonislawski, and ironically that's where they met. She told my mother that the attorney she rents her office space from is looking for a receptionist. She put in a good word and my mother got the job. And they have remained great friends through the years. My mother always told me "Darleen is the reason why I'm where I am". Eternally grateful. So am I. She was so good to me and was always cheery. Always had a smile on her face when she saw me. She genuinely cared. And she showed it. I'll always love her for the kindness and warmth she showed me over the years, as the child growing up to about 3 years ago when I last saw her. My only regret is that she never met my son. Sleep well, Mrs. Bonislowski. You'll always be in my heart.
