Hi dad.you are never far from my thoughts.its been six years,almost seven,since you left our family.you have been weighing on my heart heavily lately.so much has changed.the kids have grown so much.missy in her second year of college,Maisy in her last year of highschool,and our little man already in grade seven.i wish you were here to see them,you woukd be so proud.we talk about you lots,and your tree in your garden grows bigger and prettier with each passing year.its so hard to believe this much time has passed,when it seems like yesterday that you were here.i miss your laugh,your hugs,your humour and your advice,when i dont know what i should do.mom misses you terribly,and still has a hard time,but shes managing.i sense you around me,and i still talk to you,and hope youre proud.just needed to write you another letter.since the last one i gave you was when you were sick,and you chuckled because it was my thing to write you letters whenever i couldnt say to your face what i needed to,or when i was in trouble.it makes me smile that i havent forgot your voice,or your laugh,or how lucky i was to have an incredibly brave dad like you.miss you,amd love you dad.xoxox
