Dear Gwen, Jane and families, I am so sorry that I couldn't attend the Service for Dan. It is always difficult to know what to say at a time like this, but I want you to know that I admired Dan immensely. He was an amazing man and one of the few people I worked with who ALWAYS had a laugh - and what a great laugh! He was infectious. He was a great broadcaster, a terrific co-worker and mentor, and I am truly saddened by his passing. My thoughts and prayers will be with all of you in the months ahead.
