The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gertrude Voisin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Tim,Chris,Kim,David and families,
We are sorry to hear about the passing of your mom (Aunt Gertie). She was always a kind aunt that opened her home to many occasions from showers to family gatherings and more. Looking back when we were all younger and would line the parade route at Grandma Kochers, you could always find Aunt Gertie laughing and carrying on having a great time. She was also very generous with her knitting and we still have lots of her famous dishcloths to use for years to come!
We hope that all the fun memories of your mom will lift your spirits and carry you through the difficult times when needed.
You are all in our thoughts. Take care.
Cindy, Jamie, John Eykens and family

Condolence From: Tom Ullyett
Condolence: Tim and family,

I remember your mother well as one who always welcomed your friends like me into your Ross Ave home. I'm sad to hear of her passing but I'm sure her spirit will continues to live on through you, your siblings and children.

On a lighter note, I was always struck by the presence of the Bible so prominently displayed in your living room. That's not so unusual for a Christian home, but it seemed strange to me given all the juvenile havoc we caused in those days!!

Take care Tim. You can be sure that all of us from Mr. Bondarenko's grade 7 class at St. Leo's (1970-1971) will be thinking of you and your family.
