ABELL - Our Janie (Linda) won her battle for freedom July 31st, 2007, at age 60. Dear daughter of the late Bertrand and Margaret (nee Newton) Abell of Listowel.
Janie was dearly loved by family, friends, and colleagues - far and near, young and old.
Her greatest gift was her friendship... for to be a friend of Janie's was to bask in the sunlight... of loyalty, generosity, and laughter.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, August 18, with socializing commencing at 10am, and memories being shared at 11am, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519.749.8467.
In lieu of flowers, we would gladly accept donations to the Children's Wish Foundation, since Janie had a true love of children and young people.
