Fischer, Adolf
Born August 19, 1928, Adolf passed away suddenly, Monday, November 17, 2003 at his home in his 76th year.
Adolf was the beloved husband of Margarete (nee Weigold) for 51 years. Adolf will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his children Gregory and his wife Angela of Cambridge, Angela and her husband Derek Docherty, Lisa and her husband Steve McEwan and Andrea and her husband Lee Douglas all of Kitchener. Opa to Emma; Jordan, Rebecca and Sarah; Nicholas and Taylor; Jacob, Carter, and newest granddaughter, Nikala, born one day prior to Adolf's death. Predeceased by his parents Adolf and Anna Fischer and sister Irma Speckhardt.
Adolf's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (749-8467).
Funeral service to be held on Friday, November 21, 2003 at 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener, followed by a reception at the funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
