I am very sad to hear of Bill's passing. He was 'one of the good guys.' It was my honour to serve with Bill- for years- as an Out Of The Cold volunteer at Trinity church. Bill was the greeter at the front door- & the 1st person many guests met when they arrived at the church. He always had warm welcoming words & had conversations with many guests. Tonight- I saw guests in tears- when they heard the news. He cared about people. He was a kind & gentle man. He will be missed by many. My sincere sympathies- to Pat- his family & friends. I was blessed to have known him.
