Weber, William J. (Bill):

Bill died suddenly at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Treasured husband of Pat Tummon. Predeceased by his first wife Anne Weber (2000). Loving father of Pam Weber (James Midwinter) of Calgary, Dave Weber (Ruth) of Waterloo, Jay Weber of Carlton Place and Cindy Weber (Mike McGlogan) of Elora. Bill will be fondly missed by Pat’s children, John Tummon (Wynne) of Grimsby and Johanne Tummon of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Adam and Shelby Weber and Nigel, Calvin and Derrick Midwinter, step-grandfather of Jeff (MC), Melissa and Danielle Tummon and step-great grandfather of Jack Tummon. Dear brother of Bonnie Jacob of Waterloo and Judy Dietz of California. Bill is predeceased by his brother, Cam Weber.

As owner of Webco Sports for over 50 years, each and every customer experienced Bill’s personal touch. He loved to share his passion of music, started drumming at the age of 13 and played his last gig New Years Eve of this year. Bill was well known in the community and actively participated with The Out of The Cold Program at Trinity United Church.

Bill’s family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial visitation on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at Trinity United Church, 74 Frederick Street, Kitchener, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012. Cremation has taken place with private family interment to follow at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations to The Out of The Cold Program – Trinity United Church would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).

Bill was truly a gentle man and touched the hearts of all who met him, laughed with him and loved him.
