Condolence:
THE IRON HORSE TRAIL
There's a place along the Iron Horse Trail
at the creek across from the rails
Plastic flowers wrapped round a tree
placed carefully for all to see
It's just before a fork in the path
for all to see to show the wrath
Someones remembrance for another's soul
when I pass by it takes its toll
This place along the Iron Horse Trail
the flowers remain and state without fail
That another soul will never forget
for that I owe the greatest of debt
For all we meet with our troubles and strife
it takes just a moment to appreciate life
For all we meet with our troubles and strife
it takes just a moment to appreciate life.
A dirge written to be sung
to the melody of Scarborough Fair
You were a good man Ben... a good man.
