WOOD, William Earl (Bill) Passed away peacefully at home in Trenton, Ontario, on Tuesday September 11th, 2018. Survived by his loving wife, Susan (nee Mattucci), his Daughter in law, Laurin Williams of Ottawa and his dearest Grandchildren, Liam and June. Bill is predeceased by his beloved son Casey. Bill is also predeceased by his Father, Earl Wood of Lindsay and his Mother Jean Alice Wood (nee Bryan) of Midland Ontario. Bill will be dearly remembered by his sisters, Jane Maurice (Georges), Allison Zimmermann of Midland Ontario, Jody Lester of Abbotsford B.C. and his Brother in law, Bill Mattucci of Peterborough. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephew, extended family and friends and especially his life long friend Peter Howard (Sharon) of Bobcaygeon.
Bill worked for 35 years in Industrial Sales. He recently retired from Westridge Sales. Bill enjoyed watching and coaching baseball and he took the greatest pleasure in spending time with his family and friends.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Noland, Dr. Shirriff and the staff of Diagnostic Imaging Holding at Belleville General Hospital for their care and compassion during this most difficult time.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Rushnell Funeral Centre (613-392-2111) 60 Division St. Trenton Ontario on Saturday September 22, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm.
