A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, June R. Le Soine was born June 11, 1932 in Norwich, England. June grew up in England, and met the love of her life Richard A. Le Soine while he served in the Air Force and was stationed in England. They married and moved back to Poughkeepsie, where they raised five children. They were married for sixty four years. Richard predeceased her on 11/62016.
June is survived by her five children; Judy Bozick and her husband Donald, Suzann Shaw Kimball and her husband Kenneth, Peter Le Soine, Mark Le Soine and his wife Carol, and Patricia Moses and her husband Michael. June is also survived by 15 grandchildren; Christopher Shaw and his wife Jaime, Justin Bozick and his partner Laura Neese, Joseph DiCarlo and Sara Wiltsie, Jennifer Hudgens and her husband Jason, Laura Rathlev and her husband Jordan, Michelle Hirschy and her husband Joseph, Michael Di Carlo, Anthony DiCarlo and his wife Courtney, Nicholas Hoffman, Scott LeSoine, Alyssa DiCarlo and her fiancée Austin Butler, Avery Moses, Michael Le Soine, Cody Le Soine, and Christian Le Soine. June is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; Logan and Mia DiCarlo, Declyn Hirschy, and Lucy Rathlev. June is also survived by her brother Alan Summers and his wife Beatrice.
June enjoyed many camping trips with her family, spending winters in Sarasota, Florida, playing bingo, and visiting with her wonderful neighbors who provided her with much support and companionship. June’s spirit will Iive in our hearts forever. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603 on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 4:00PM to6:00 PM. The funeral will take place Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Miller Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
