Russell C. Kilfoyle, 78 of the Town of Poughkeepsie, passed away on Wednesday, April 18,2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Russell was born on March 23, 1940 in Montreal, Canada to the late Russell H. and Linda Whitmore Kilfoyle. He married the former Evelyn M. Hall on September 29, 1961 in Richmond, Ontario and predeceased him on April 3, 2010.
A local resident since 1964, Russell received his Associates Degree from Toronto University and was employed for 31 years at IBM in Poughkeepsie as a Facilities Manager. He retired in 1992.
Russell was a member of Masonic Temple #456 in Pleasant Valley, NY, The Iroquois Hunting and Fishing Club and a Life Member of the Croft Corners Fire Co.
Russell is survived by his loving companion, Charlene "Sherry" Fitchett Fisher of Poughkeepsie, NY. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 1PM at The Whortlekill Rod & Gun Club, 540 Rt. 376, Hopewell Jct., NY 12533.
