Randy always met me with a smile and a friendly chat, he took great care and was very professional when assisting in the lifting and relaunching of Constantia each season, I will miss his smile and our short chats.
I often just chatted with Randy while walking to our slip by the lift. He was always smiling, never complaining, and so very willing to help any way he could. He’ll be missed by many, and none more so than by his family, to whom I send my deepest condolences.
Randy was one of my grade ten science students at West Vancouver Secondary school. He excelled at solving structural physic problems. He was always helping others in class and became a role model. He spent many years helping me keep my 30 foot Nonsuch sailboat ( "Puffin" ) in tip top shape and he taught me everything I know about how to wax a polish a boat. His care during power washing and boat lifting always put me at ease as my 10 ton boat was put on the hard. Randy was always professional and caring. I will miss his smile and happy attitude and will always remember him when I enter the yard at Thunderbird. Dave Urquhart
