Dearest family of Kurt Grishman, On behalf of the Rhinebeck Chamber Music Society as the President, Babette Hierholzer as the Artistic Directorr and all of our Board, I would like to extend our very deepest sympathies to you in this time of great sadness. Our hearts truly go out to you all. Speaking personally, regrettably I had never met Kurt, but I know his name so well every time eI open up our Program for the season, as well as being familiar with the amazing achievement he put in place in founding us and setting us on our way to almost 40 seasons of tremendous success. That was a truly amazing achievement, without any doubt. He sounds like a wonderful person and music lover. I really feel as if I knew him as an esteemed "ancestor."
