Condolence From: Scott Haslett
Condolence: Just found out about Pete's passing. So sorry to hear that he was such a special person. I was with him when he bought his first Harley. I remember he was sitting on a Sportster and he was just beaming and asked what I thought. I said it looked like a dirt bike because he was so tall and it was so small. I then pointed over at the black Road King and said that is the one he should buy...... and he did!! Just one of the many fond memories I have of him.

Condolence: Goodbye Pete. We burned a lot of daylight between 1974 and 1981 or so. Thought we had forever then! You learned to ride a bike on the first brand new GS 750 Suzuki in Ontario in 1977, up and around Natchez, and didn't want your mom to know. Turkey Point, Honey Harbour and Owen Sound loom large in the legend of Starsky and Hutch. Last time we talked was at Conestoga in 1997 or so at the motorcycle rider training course. Tick tock. All the best to you and yours, I went to the funeral home and signed your book but did not know a soul. Farewell, Don
