Our bond with our mother is one of the most significant and long lasting that we have. Their loss is always painful. In the 10 commandments God tells us to honor our parents while they are alive and their memory after their death. Death and mourning are inherently human. Adam and Eve brought sin and death into the world when they disobeyed God , but Jesus through his sacrifice on the cross opened the door for us to eternal life. God chooses the times of our lives from when we are first formed in our mothers womb to when he calls us home. There is nothing we can do to add one more breath to our time here in earth. It is important to honor our parents by following their example, living a life that they would be proud of. Celebrate the efforts they have made and the lives they have led. One day we will all be reunited in our new home in heaven. Death is not the end it is a passage to our eternal existence. HAPPY SUNDAY! And may God richly reward you Ruth Abe for the positive influence , love , and compassion you have shown me and my family.
