Kathleen M. Hendrickson of Poughkeepsie, passed away at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 13, 2017, with her family by her side, she was 85. The daughter of the late John and Kathleen (Talbot) Hohl, she was a lifetime resident of Poughkeepsie. On October 13, 1951, she married the love of her life, Arthur Hendrickson who predeceased her on July 31, 2002. A member of the Dutchess Golf and Country Club, she was also an avid Bridge player. Kathleen was a homemaker and will always be remembered by her children as a great, loving mother who welcomed everyone, not passing judgment in any way. Kathleen is survived by her son Steven Hendrickson of Poughkeepsie, NY; her daughters Sue Hendrickson of Hyde Park, NY and Jean Hendrickson of Poughkeepsie, NY. Also surviving are five Grandchildren, Nicole, Kristen, and Jacob Hendrickson, and Terri Hart, and James Wiese and two Great Grandchildren, Stephen Joyner and Jacob Hendrickson, along with several nieces and nephews. Kathleen is predeceased by a son, James J. Hendrickson and a daughter, Theresa A. Hendrickson and her Granddaughter, Stefani Hendrickson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 4:00 - 8:00PM, at the Wm. G. Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at St. Martin de Porres Church, 118 Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
