It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Konrad, following a courageous battle with cancer, at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Theresa for over 58 years. Loving father of Reinhold (Norma), David, and Wil (Janice). Proud Opa of Kevin (Katrina), Caitlin (Joshua), Julianne, Sarah and Scott and great grandfather of Logan and Blake. Survived by seven sisters and one brother. Predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
Konrad's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Woodland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethel Park Bible Camp Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
