My deepest sympathy to your family. Jo was a free spirit and wonderful person, and I'm so fortunate to have known her. May she rest in peace.

Mary Jo was so special to us. Although we didn't know her very long, we shared special moments attending Candlelight Dinner Theater musical productions in the past few years. Along with many leisurely and satisfying meals, we also shared lively conversation, many laughable moments, and an ever-searching hunt for the best Cosmopolitan we could find. We loved trying new restaurants but we had our favorites we would return to. She was caring, interested, funny, fiesty, loving, curious. We shared a love for reading and theater. We will cherish and think fondly of her forever.

I'm really going to miss Jo. She taught me so much. What I will miss the most is sitting in her office talking about life and our love of dogs when I was supposed to be working. She was like another grandmother to me in a lot of ways and I'm thankful that I have reminders of her all around me in the office so I can think of her daily.
