Obituary for Dianne M. Stewart

Dianne M.  Stewart
Dianne Marie Stewart, 61, born in Toledo, Ohio on March 16, 1955. She received her wings on October 24, 2016. Dianne was a multi-instrumentalist who passionately loved music, and complimented her love of music with an equal love for dancing by founding the New Generation Dance Troupe. Dianne also advocated for special needs children and families. In 2004 she won the Volunteer of the Year award from the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities as a volunteer, and coach for the Special Olympics. Dianne also completed a 5k run for the Lucas County Special Olympics Program.
She was preceded to glory by her parents, Wallace Sr. and Helyn (Martin) Stewart. She is survived by her daughter, Dia Stewart; son, LaVale Stewart; granddaughter,
Gabriella Stewart; sisters, Sandra Martin, Teresa Stewart, Janice Henshaw, Jaye Hayes, Lorii Wallace; and brothers, Fredric Glover and Wallace Stewart Jr.
Memorial services will be held at House of Day, 2550 Nebraska Ave., Toledo, OH 43607 at 3:16 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Memorial contributions may be given at any Fifth Third Bank to the Dianne Stewart memorial
