Hubert Kay was born May 15, 1928 in Noble, Oklahoma to Ira Grover and Iva Gertrude (Vandiver) Kay. Hubert served in the United States Army. (He joined the Army when he was 17 years old, telling the Army he was 18 years old!) He loved to fish and caught many large catfish over the years. He was crazy about his grandkids and loved his family very much. He was a good father to his children. It was said that Hubert had the brightest blue eyes ever.
He was preceded in death by:
• His parents
• Son, Hubert Dwight Kay
• Wife of 67 Years Mary Etta Kay
• Twelve siblings (Hubert was the last of thirteen children)
Survivors include:
• Two sons, Buck & wife Sandy Kay of Oklahoma City and Ira Dewayne Kay of Norman, Oklahoma
• Daughter Samantha Kay
• Several grandchildren and great grandchildren
