Dear Pam, Erin, Andrew and Heather: We are so saddened to hear of Steve's passing. We remember Steve as an encourager to us when we were transitioning 28 years ago into a ministry position with what is now known as Southwestern Ontario Youth for Christ. He also reconnected with my Steve years later and was instrumental in bringing YFC to the community of Waterdown. I just found out that Heather works with my son-in-law, Jason Street. I went on the Grandview website and listened to Steve's last Sermon entitled, "Make My Life Count" - he stated that the goal of life is to see God glorified and not to glorify Self - that we are object lessons for God's glory. Well, Steve certainly practiced what he preached and was able to embrace God's Grace. It will be difficult to live without Steve's physical presence in your lives and we pray that you will be surrounded with love and peace in the days ahead.
