Condolences

Condolence From: Kathy & Ross Cunningham
Condolence: Dear Chris, Heather & family,

We were so sad to hear of your Dad's sudden death & especially sorry that we did not know in time to pay our respects in person. Jim was our good neighbor and friend in Smithville and we have fond memories of having him over for home cooked dinners (he loved my cabbage rolls). He was especially proud of his children, their spouses and his beloved grandsons. He shared photos of Heather's recent wedding with us and was such a proud Dad. We will miss Jim & his friendship but we know that he is finally at peace reunited in heaven with his dear wife. Until we meet again, Jim. RIP Kathy & Ross xoxo

Condolence From: Carrie Millman
Condolence: Very sad to hear of your loss.

I worked closely with Jimmy on a complex file in his last few years at the WSIB. During that time we often travelled together and I got to see his mischievous side as well as his sweet chivalrous side. He was the strong silent type, but when he was chatty he spoke lovingly of his family and shared stores of summer road trips and his time in the RCMP. Jimmy taught me how to drink with the big boys. I called him grandpa before he was one, because of the green menthol gummy candies he kept in a tin at his desk, and I will forever think of him when I watch the movie Weekend At Bernies due to his surprisingly awesome improv and charades skills he put on display at WSIB conferences.

May your memories fill your hearts and keep you strong. Deepest Sympathies.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Jim in the Market Unit at 225 Jarvis and Milton. I will always remember his calm and reassuring leadership. His sense of humour, warm laugh, and his access to the Sgt.'s Mess are some of the many attributes he shared with us. It was my pleasure to know and work with Jim. I will miss him. Rest in peace my friend.

Condolence: I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I served with Jim in the RCMP and we spent two years together while seconded to the Bank of Montreal. He was a good friend to me. He was very much a family man as well, as he often spoke of his family during long nights over cold beverages. RIP Jimbo.
