When my son was born....

I have known June for over 30 years, she and my Mom have been best friends forever. I have attended dog shows with her, shared meals and holidays, gone shopping and June has been present for many important events in my life. The one that stands out the most, is the night my son was born- over 25 years ago. As my husband drove me to the hospital, I called my Mom and June, they both met us there.Throughout the long labor June talked to all of us and kept us entertained and reassured. She was so sweet and thoughtful. Mom and June went to see my son together and they each got to hold him. June didn't do anything that all of us would have done, but it is the small things in life that we do for each other that really count. I am grateful and honored to have had June in my life. I will miss her and think of her often. My thoughts are with you and your family. I hope you take comfort in knowing that June has been an important part of my life and I am sure, in other peoples lives too. She will live on in many fond memories.
