Cary P. Shields, 76, of Ft. Smith died Sat., April 17, 2021. He was born on July 24, 1944 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Charles and Elizabeth (Green) Shields. Cary retired from the United States Post Office after 35 years as a postal clerk. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Shields of the home; three daughters, Leslie Bland and her husband Rodney of Bentonville, AR , Barbara Boener and her husband Jon of Lexica, KS and Rebecca Clark and her husband Gregory of Hackett, AR; a step son, Toby Cook of Scranton, AR; a brother, Charles Shields of Seabring, FL; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Graveside services are 1:00PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
