Obituary for Doris Laster (Brown)
Doris Laster, 98, of Alma passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at a local hospital. She was a beautician. She was born March 30, 1923 in Formosa, AR to Drew and Lucinda (Qualls) Brown. Doris was preceded in death by her parents; husband, V.C. Laster; grandson, Doug Rudy; four sisters and her twin brother.
Graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Harmony Cemetery in Clarksville, AR under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Rudy and husband George of Alma; granddaughters Renada Henderson and husband Tim of Gainesville, TX and Jennifer Robertson and husband Brent of Rudy; 10 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren and sisters, Billie Isaacs of Artesia, NM and Merlean Leavell of Dover.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 E., Alma, AR.
