Obituary for Don Allen
Don Alton Allen, 84, of Alma passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at a local nursing home. He was a farmer, diesel mechanic for ABF and a member of the Crawford County Sheriff’s Mounted Patrol. Don was a problem solver and inventor of the Handy-Throttle. He was a member of the Alma Northside Church of Christ and enjoyed hunting and trout fishing. Don was born November 9, 1936 in Jackson County, AR to the late Roy and Evelyn (Rich) Allen. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Allen and brothers, LeRoy and Garland Allen.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Alma City Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include sons, Mark Allen and wife Beth, Mike Allen and wife Karen all of Alma and Mitch Allen and wife Thinh of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Zachary Allen, Haley Coffman, Payton Allen, Emma Allen and Ella Allen and great grandchildren, Abram Allen, Olivia Allen and Cambria Allen.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Alma City Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
