Obituary for Norma Jean Lucas (Whitehead)
Norma Jean Lucas, 81 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 in her home. She was a homemaker; a member of the Salvation Army for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wayne Lucas; her parents; a sister and a brother.
Memorial service will be at 11 A.M. Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Salvation Army Chapel at 301 N. 6th Street Fort Smith. A viewing/visitation will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 4 to 6 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
She is survived by her two daughters Kelly Belcher and Heather Lucas both of Van Buren; three sons Michael Lucas of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, David and Stephen Lucas both of Fort Smith; one sister Sue Liberto of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother Donald Whitehead of Ozark; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
