Obituary for Mary Ellen Weidman
Mary Ellen Weidman, 90 of Van Buren and a native of Wagner, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and former assistant at the Van Buren Housing Authority; she was a member of the PEO, Van Buren Garden Club and Heritage United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William “Bill” Weidman and Elum Burris.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 22, 2021 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren with burial at Elmwood in Wagoner, Oklahoma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by one son, Bill Weidman and wife, Mary Jo of Alma; one granddaughter, Whitney Green of Fort Smith; one grandson, Ryan Weidman and wife, Natalie of Alma; one great, great granddaughter, Harper Green of Fort Smith.
A viewing will be Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 4-6 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home in 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
