Obituary for Patty High
Visitation 4-8 PM Wed, Dec 16th & Thurs, Dec 17th and 10:00 to 1:00 Friday, Dec 18th at Vondel L. Smith Funeral Home, 4000 SW 119th. Graveside services to celebrate Patty’s life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Dec 18, 2020 at Heritage Burial Park, 4000 SW 119th. In respect for all in attendance, please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
Patty Jean (Jackson) High, 86, was called to her Heavenly home on Dec 12, 2020. The daughter of Vester and Lucy (Hicks) Jackson, Patty was born May 5, 1934 in Austin, Arkansas. After graduating from Cabot High School, Patty married her sweetheart, Billy High and together they shared 61 years of marriage until his passing in 2015. She worked for AAA Auto Club both in Little Rock, Ark & Tulsa, OK and then worked full time in the home lovingly raising her children. Patty also worked twenty plus years at Southwest Ford and then Fred Jones Auto Collection as a Senior Accounting Clerk. Patty was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Del City. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Patty leaves behind her grateful children: Belinda Woods, Arenda East (husband Matt) & Russell High (wife Jana); sister, Thresa (Jackson) Hill; grandchildren; Janae Liles and husband Todd, Matt Woods and wife Dionne, Zack Woods and wife Jen, Meagan Cofer and husband Jonathan, Dillon East and girlfriend Hope Rankin, Jackson High, Emma High, Samuel High and Harrison High; great-grandchildren, Konnor Liles, Kamdynn Liles, Elijah Woods, Holden Woods, Henry Woods, Maci Cofer, Maddi Cofer & Jonah Cofer; nieces and nephews, Steve Hill (wife Susie), Sheila Cato (husband Mark), Sheri McLemore (husband Drew), Paula Abshure, Michael Abshure (wife Dee), Craig Abshure (wife Deb) and many other loving family and friends.
