Obituary for Noma Lea Hunter (Lancaster)

Noma Lea Hunter, 88, of Mulberry, AR passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 in her home. She was a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Regular Baptist Church in Pleasant View and former employee of Dixie Cup Manufacturing. Noma Lea was a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved fishing, cooking, spending time with her family, her community, neighbors and many friends. She was born June 14, 1932 in Lone Elm to the late Roy and Lula (Bourland) Lancaster. She was also preceded in death by her husband Farl “Bood” Hunter; a sister, Cecil Francis and brothers, Floyd and Carroll Lancaster.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 14, 2020 at New Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include her sons, Preston Hunter of Skiatook, OK and John Hunter and wife Becky of Mulberry; 3 grandchildren, Brandi Howell and husband Chris, Travis Hunter and wife Lindsey and Chlise Hobbs and husband Adam; 5 great grandchildren, Hunter Howell, Slayden Howell, Lilian Hobbs, Havyn Hobbs and Eli Hobbs.
Pallbearers will be Galen Hunter, Jerry Wayne Hunter, Justin Hunter, Travis Hunter, Chris Howell and Adam Hobbs.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
