Obituary for Dena Frano (Mancini)

Dena Frano (Mancini) 90, of Mentor, passed away on Saturday November 21, 2020. A daughter of the late Octavio and Joanna Mancini (nee Bassi). Dena was born October 30, 1930 in Ellwood City, PA. Dena graduated from Ellwood City high school and on June 24, 1950 married pastor Joseph Frano. The couple shared 66 years of marriage prior to Joseph's passing on June 8, 2016. Dena was a secretary and treasurer for Full Gospel Assembly until she retired. Dena loved cooking and was a talented baker who has made countless cookies over the years. She enjoyed taking ceramics classes and traveling all over the world. She loved to go shopping and could outshop everyone she knew. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her children, Douglas (Deb) Frano and Denise (John W. JR) Brewer; her grandchildren Christina (Mark) Cade, Stephanie (Stephen) Hibbs, and Nicole Brewer; great grandchildren, Levi, Addison, Caleb, Vincent and Wes. She is survived by loving sister Norma (Joe) Lorusso. Also many great nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Clara Sofia, Fred Mancini, and Robert Mancini.

Family and friends will be received from 10 am - 12 noon at Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home 36000 Lakeshore Blvd, Eastlale.Eastlake. Funeral service will be immediately following calling hours. All services will adhere to social distancing and wearing masks.

In keeping with the cemeteries requests and covid restrictions, a private burial will take place for immediate family only.
