Obituary for Judy Ann Stuchul
JUDY ANN STUCHUL, age 84 of Richmond Heights, Ohio passed away on October 30, 2020. She was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth and
Edith (nee Slevin) Stuchul. Dearest companion of Raymond Shank (deceased) and dear friend of Barbara and James Szabo of Strongsville, Ohio.
Judy graduated from Ohio University in Athens, OH in 1958 with her Masters degree in Chemistry and soon after joined Sohio Oil Company in Cleveland, OH as a senior chemist in polymer research at their Warrensville Laboratory. Her entire employment career was spent at Sohio and later BP Oil Company.
Upon retirement, she enjoyed gardening and volunteering at The Holden Arboretum. She was an annual season ticket holder to both Playhouse Square and Cleveland Orchestra/Blossom Music Center. With her friend Raymond, they traveled to both Hawaii and Florida every winter and attended all of The Ohio State University football home games.
We would like to thank Vitalia Strongsville and Cypress Hospice for all the care, love and support they have given Judy the past 3 years. We would especially to thank Ashley, Jessie and all the other caregivers and nurses at Vitalia who work so hard to keep everyone comfortable and happy.
As per Judy’s request, there will be no viewing and interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Judy’s name may be made to The Holden Arboretum, 9550 Sperry Rd. Kirtland, Ohio 44094.
