George A. Rancich, age 70 of Euclid, beloved father Jacqueline Baughman (Chris), Danielle Young (Sean) George Rancich, Jr. (deceased); Biggie the turtle; cherished grandfather of Craig, Aleigha, Arianna, Abreanah; proud great grandfather of Dakota; son of Peter and Caroline (nee Sokolovich) Rancich (both deceased); brother of Carolyn Jeffery (Mike); uncle of Rick, Jerry, and Kiara. George proudly served in the US Airforce and was a graduate of Lake Erie College with a bachelor’s degree. He retired from General Electric. George AKA “Dr. Fun” liked to go to casinos, watch horse racing on TVG, coin collecting (he was in many coin clubs), and loved spending time with his grandkids. Funeral mass will be 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Jerome Parish, 15000 Lake Shore Blvd., Cleveland. Family will receive friends 4-8 PM on Thursday at the Jakubs & Son Funeral Home, 936 E. 185th Street Cleveland. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
