Obituary for George David "David" Hayes
George “David” Hayes, 76 of Van Buren passed away Monday, October 19, 2020 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was retired from Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith and still working at Hayes Tile and Cabinet in Ratcliff, Arkansas. He was a member/elder at South 46th Street Church of Christ in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Farrah (Bonner) Hayes; two brothers Bill and Jerry Hayes; daughter-in-law Lezli Hayes.
Funeral services will be 10AM, Friday October 23, 2020 at Ocker Funeral Home with burial to follow at Parks Cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife Linda of the home; one daughter Renae Fight and husband David of Van Buren; one son Brian Hayes of London, Arkansas; four grandchildren Farrah, Allicen, Emily and Isaac.
Family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to go to the South 46th Street Church of Christ in Fort Smith, 2323 South 46th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903.
