Obituary for Lilburn "Lloyd" Lloyd Pursley Jr.
Lloyd Pursley, Jr. 77, of Barling passed away Monday, October 5, 2020 in a local hospital. He was owner/operator of Elmer’s Cabinet Shop in Van Buren and was an U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents Lilburn Sr. and Orpha Pursley, Elmer and Julia Ashlock.
He is survived by his wife Peggy of the home; one daughter Amanda Yerby and husband Gage of Van Buren; six sons Billy Pursley and wife Ronda of Springdale, Robert Pursley of Fort Smith, Bill Hutton and wife Debbie of Springdale, John Hutton of Fort Smith, Danny Hutton and wife Michele of Lowell, Jimmy Hutton and Tricia King of Springdale; two sisters Patty Dipboye and husband Gary of Van Buren and Connie Gryner and husband Dennis of Kibler; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:30AM, Friday October 9, 2020 at Kibler Baptist Church with burial to follow 12:00(Noon) at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
