Obituary for Gerald "Wayne" Arney Jr.
Gerald “Wayne” Arney, Jr., 51, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on October 6, 2020 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born on October 18, 1968 to Gerald and Claudia (Watkins) Arney. He was a former line worker for Whirlpool Manufacturing.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Arney of Talahina, OK; his father, Gerald Arney, Sr. of Fort Smith, AR; two sisters, Pamela Strickland of Carthage, MO and Christina Harper and her husband Scott of Vian, OK and several nieces and nephews.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
