Obituary for Mae Palmer Anderson (Palmer)
Mae Palmer Anderson of Spiro, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020. She was born on October 1, 1932 in Leroy, Alabama to the late Mark Lambert and Carrie Isobell Grimes Palmer. She was the 11th of 12 siblings. Mae was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Mark, Jr., Mack, John, Bryant, Walter and Lloyd Palmer and five sisters, Ruby Grimes, Minnie Arnold, Nancy Beach, Myrtie Davis and Bessie Hackbarth.
Funeral services are 10:00AM, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Fort Smith with burial to follow in Oak Cemetery.
The family will visit with friends from 4-6PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Dale Anderson and his wife Vicki of Spiro, OK and Michael Larry Anderson and his wife Debbie of Alma, AR; four grandchildren, Codee Anderson and his wife Stephanie of Spiro, OK, Andy Anderson and his wife Jennifer of Fort Smith, AR, Kala Price and her husband Josh of Rudy, AR, Kristi Hudson and her husband Ron of Dyer, AR and five great grandchildren, Aunika, Abigail and Wyatt Anderson of Spiro, OK and Braxton and Tanner Price of Rudy, AR.
