William Thomas “Jack” Waldrop, 87, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020, at the age of 87. He was born in Comanche, Oklahoma on June 8, 1932 to Charley Watterson and Inez Almedia (Williams) Waldrop. Jack’s family moved to Maud, Oklahoma where he was raised and graduated from Maud High School. Jack married the love of his life Lola Joan Rathbun. On May 15th, they would have shared 67 wonderful years together. Jack served his country in the US Navy for four years. He then worked for the FAA for a total of 41 years, first as a Procurement Clerk and then for a Contracting Officer until 1998 when he retired. He was a witty guy who never met a stranger. He always had a positive and optimistic outlook and would always be the first one to lend a hand to anyone in need. He cherished the moments spent with family with whom he shared many hours telling funny stories of his life experiences. He especially enjoyed the times his grandchildren came to visit.
