Passed away with extreme peace, surrounded by her family on November 30, 2019 in her 79th year. Loving wife of Andre for 58 years. Devoted mother of Debbie, Paul(Leslie), and Charlene(Luis De Sousa). Cherished Nana of Casey, Clayton, Carson, Colby, Andrew, Journee, and Caymn. Florence will also be missed by many family, friends, nieces, and nephews. Through her dedication over decades to the 'Joy and Hope of Haiti', Florence leaves a legacy that has touched many and we are all richer for having known her. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave. (between Mohawk and Fennell) on Monday December 2, 2019 from 5- 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Regina Mundi Catholic Church, 631 Mohawk Rd. W. on Tuesday December 3, 2019 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Assistance Program or St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation.
