August 26, 1948 to November 5, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce Daniel passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday November 5th at the age of 71. The loving and devoted husband of Cathey for 48 years, Danny was the loving father of his son Danny (Kristy), daughter Kristyn (Alan) and much loved grandpa to Dylan and Amber. Loving brother of Howie (Elizabeth), Sue (Rob), David (Karen) and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Danny had so many friends, it seemed like he knew just about everybody. He loved to fish and after 25 successful years of service with the Ford Motor Co, Danny entered into a well deserved retirement. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue on Saturday November 16th from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Humane Society or McMaster Sick Kids would be appreciated by his family.
