Restoule, Sylvia (née Beaucage) 1940 -2019
The family announces with sorrow her death in Sturgeon Falls, on monday, september 9th 2019 at the age of 79 years. Daughter of the late Sylvester Beaucage and of the late Philomene Beaucage (née Goulais). Beloved mother of Julie Coote (Kelly), Patricia Turner (John) and Christopher Restoule. Predeceased by her son Robert Restoule. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Cody Coote, Samantha Coote, Sophia Turner, Julia Turner, Samantha Restoule, Karen Restoule, Scott Restoule and Denis Restoule as well as her 2 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings David Beaucage and Theodore “Teddy” Beaucage. Sylvia was a well-respected Anishnaabemowin Language Keeper and will also be missed by her friends at the Diner’s club and Homemakers Club. The family will receive friends at the Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village on Sunday, September 15th 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 16th 2019 at 11am. Donations to the Nipissing First Nation Language Committee would be appreciated.
