Obituary for Thomas Jude Cryan

Passed away at Taunton Mills on Thursday September 5th, 2019 at the age of 85.

Tom Cryan was born in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Roscommon, Ireland in 1934 and at 18 years old he followed his brothers to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He met the love of his life, Netta Kelly, a few years later and together they had 6 wonderful children and enjoyed an extended family in Ireland, Scotland and California.
Loving husband of Netta (nee Kelly) for 62 years.

Much loved father of Delia (late Peter), Patricia (Paul), late Iain, Gerry (Lorrie), Tom (Rosie), Maureen (Lisa).
Grandfather of Christina, Melissa, Brian, Brendan, Rebecca, Ashaleigh, Katie, Angeleigh, Kevin, Shawna, Natalie, Colleen, Kylie, Connor, Sinead, Peri, Caeden and Layne. Great-grandfather of 19 and growing. Dear brother of Samuel Cryan. Predeceased by Padraig (Patricia), Joseph (surviving Mary) and Richard.
Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews (Canada, California and Ireland) and their families as well as Kerry Buker.

Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby on Monday September 9th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Then to Holy Family Catholic Church for Mass at 91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Tom will be buried at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Rd. E., Whitby. His family invite you to join them in a celebration of his life which will be held at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home following the burial.
