Obituary for Loretta Jean Whatley (Allen)
Loretta Jean Whatley, 58 of Rudy passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in her home. She was a cook at Darby Jr. High School in Fort Smith and a member of Shibley Baptist Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her parents William Wayne and Patsy (Crenshaw) Allen.
Funeral service will be 1PM Friday, May 17, 2019 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial to follow at Gill Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
She is survived by her husband of twenty years Randy Whatley of the home; one daughter Alisha Chick of Greenwood; one son Michael Plaster of Lavaca; four sisters Barbara Ann Williams of Mountainburg, Mary Francis Anderson of Van Buren, Debra Kay Gattis of Fort Smith and Cindy Gail May of Alma; one brother Clifford Lee Allen of Van Buren; thirteen grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home Van Buren 700 Jefferson Street.
Pallbearers will be William Walker, Wade Walker, Adrian Whatley, Andrew Whatley, Michael Plaster and Jacob Chick.
