Obituary for Sola Mae Sanders (McClerkin)
Sola Mae Sanders of Toledo, OH was born in Hickman , KY, November 7, 1940, to the union of Cortez and Hattie Mae McClerkin. In the presence of his loving family, she peacefully slipped into the arms of Jesus, Thursday, April 25, 2019 in Toledo Hospital.
Sola had a smile that would light up a room. She was very comical. She would bring the best out of you even if you were down. She loved to dress and especially her red lip stick. She loved her family.
Sola was preceded in death by parents, brothers Samuel, Jessie, Bobby and Harry McClerkin.
Sola leaves to cherish her memory, sons Keith Pearson (Hickman,KY) Darryl and Milton Sanders.
Daughters Tina( Tommy) Butts and Schnell Sanders: Bonus Daughter Suzette(George)Cowell, Sisters Mary Ann (Charles) Buntyn Xenia, OH, Mae Lois (Greg) Wilson and Marilyn McClerkin, Hickman Ky. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 11:00 am preceded by a 10:00 am Wake, at Friendship Baptist Church, 5301 Nebraska Avenue, Bishop Duane C. Tisdale, Officiant
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2019, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm, at The House of Day Funeral Service.
