Eric Warren McDonald

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eric Warren McDonald share his passing, surrounded by family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the age of 62.

An Employee of The Toronto District School Board with 27 years of service. Eric is remembered
as a warm, humorous and generous soul, and amazing man, admired and loved by all who
knew him. His love of family, his passion for cars and fixing everyone’s vehicles made him
extremely happy. His constant patience and teaching to his beloved son Christopher Warren
McDonald made him happy and fulfilled in life. His Beautiful Dog and best friend Bear will miss
and his family and friendships and sunshine will be cherished memories for all. Eric made
everyone feel happy, his constant humour and funny punch lines made everyone laugh and his
open door policy to his son’s friends and many cousins made him a special man. Eric’s love for
his boat and fishing and the love for the water and lake made him love the summer season.
Son of the late Mona and Aloysius McDonald, Beloved father of Christopher Warren McDonald,
Beloved brother of the late Minerva Ford, Valerie Comber, Loving Uncle of Melissa McDonald,
Carolyn McDonald, Patti Dobson, and Tammy Morrison. He will be dearly missed by his great
nieces and nephews Joshua, Craig, Matt, Nathan, Makayla, and Zoe.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, Saturday, May,
4, 2019 at 10:00am and service to follow at 11:00am, at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home,
