Obituary for Bettie Cooper
Betty Cooper, age 82 of Toledo, OH, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 peacefully at St. Vincent's Hospital Hospice Unite. She was born October 23, 1936 to William and Amanda Armstrong in Hughes, Arkansas. She retired from General Mills in 1983 as a machine operator. She enjoyed blues music, dancing, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and she also loved Tiger Woods.
She was preceded in death by her son Joe Cooper, daughters Ladonna Cooper-Taylor, Estelle (Louise) McCray, Barbara Summers, 4 brothers and 4 sisters, Tony Armstrong, Willie Armstrong, William Armstrong, Henry Armstrong, Amanda Armstrong-Turner, Shirley Armstrong, Nettie Mae Wright, Essie Tramell, and special nieces Erma Toney-Spencer and Mary Armstrong.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children Essie Armstrong, Jerome Cooper (Linda), Kathy Cooper, Debra Cooper-Riley, Annette Cooper, Anna Hopings, granddaughters, Sonequa Hopings and Latia Cooper, grandson, Jamar Riley, great grand daughter Talayah Hopings and a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
