Obituary for Jeanette E. Kahrer (Bulisco)
Jeanette E. Kahrer, 93, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of April 21, 2019 at her residence.
Born on May 13, 1925 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Cosimo and Bertha Esposito Bulisco.
Jeanette had worked at the New Castle Public Library in the genealogy department. She also worked with her brother at Bulisco Catering.
Jeanette was a member of St. Vitus Church.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate Fan and enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking and bowling, but her greatest joy was time she spent with her family.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Susan Burns, Debra Clark and her husband Hal, Charles Kahrer and his wife Karen all of New Castle, her son-in-law Bill TeBrake of South Carolina, two brothers, Anthony Bulisco and Cosimo Bulisco, Jr. of New Castle, her sister, Anna DeProspero of New Castle and two grandchildren, David and Adam Kahrer.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Kahrer TeBrake, brothers, Joseph, Patsy, William and Adam Bulisco, sisters, Mary Grim, Josephine Edmiston, Delores Mangino and her son-in-law Kip Burns.
Visitation will be on Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Vitus Church at 10:00 a.m. Father William Siple will officiate.
Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
