MERCHANT, Leonard John -
Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday, April 12th, 2019 at the age of 67. Predeceased by loving wife Diana Merchant nee Benson. Leonard will be sadly missed his by daughter Patricia (Patti) Frederick and his son James (Jim) Baitley- Harrod and his wife Terri, as well as his grandchildren William, Andrew, Matthew and Michael. Leonard is also survived by his siblings Barbara Dunlop (Mervin), Kathleen Burford (Fred), Kevin Merchant (Heather) and predeceased by brother Ron Merchant. Survived by brother in law Charles Benson (Carolyn). Leonard is predeceased by his parents Doug Merchant and Amelia Merchant nee Harrison. In keeping with Leonard’s wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL LTD. 68 N. Front St. Belleville (613-968-5080). There will be no service or visitation. If desired, memorial donations to Camp Trillium would be appreciated by the family.
