Obituary for Sydney R Rigterink
Sydney Rosilin Rigterink, was 93 years old when she passed on from this life on March 17, 2019. She was born in Alton, Illinois on October 18, 1925 to Sidney and Marian Bears. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Allan Rigterink and oldest son Russell Allan Rigterink. She is survived by two siblings: Stephan Ray and Peter A., six grandchildren:, Jennifer (Mattison), Bram, Nicklas, Sarah, Jan, Jessalynn (Rigterink Potts) as well as three great-grandchildren: Reilly, Colton, and Cali (Potts).
She was a devoted wife (Ray: 27 years in Navy), mother, and friend to all. She loved to travel.
Family will receive family, friends and guests at a Celebration of Life at the Milden Presbyterian Church, Box 31 Sharps, VA, 22548 for a memorial service on March 30th, at 10:00 am.
